As a teller of XXXX for more 2 years, what I have done with respect to the risk management are as following:
Firstly, I need to learn and understand the both internal and outside regulations and various potential risks in the daily work. During the first a few weeks, different kinds of training and courses were provided to us as new staffs. These training could ensure to us to maintained the services at a consistently high level and qualified standard at all the time. Consequently, it was well beginning to control the so called operational risk.
Secondly, it is required to strictly adhere to regulations, local regulatory requirement, policies and procedures in day-to-day responsibilities to prevent operational risk and legal risk from happening. The main regulator of banking in China is the China Banking Regulatory Commission, so all the business activities must be done under the the supervision of it. Therefore as a bank teller, I should be familiar with relevant laws and regulations and follow them to take a good control of legal risk.
Thirdly, it deserved to pay close attention to the change of interest rate policy of the central bank to manage the so called market risk.Under the guiding of The People's Bank Of China, banks are required to changed their interest rates both for deposit and loan as soon as the the baseline interest rate has been adjusted by The People's Bank Of China. As long as quick actions have been taken after the policy changed, the so called flow risk could be managed well.
Fourthly,with monitoring of processing flow and system behaviors, it needed to assist CSM to minimize the operational loss and ensure potential risks are covered by appropriate control procedures as well as its implementation during processing.
Lastly, it is necessary to be qualified to win a great reputation during the process of providing services to customers and to avoid operational risk at the same time.
