<P><FONT face="Times New Roman">We study a labor market equilibrium model in which firms sign optimal long-term contracts with workers. Firms that are financially constrained offer an increasing wage profile: They pay lower wages today in exchange of higher wages once they become unconstrained and operate at a larger scale. In equilibrium, constrained firms are on average smaller and pay lower wages. In this way the model generates a positive relation between firm size and wages. Using data from the National </FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman">Longitudinal Survey of Youth (NLSY) we show that the key dynamic properties of the model are supported by the data. </FONT></P>

<P>（一）综述部分：</P>
<P>1、《市场转型与社会分层理论争辩的焦点和有待研究的问题》（刘欣）是一篇比较好的综述,推荐！；<BR>2、《阶层分化的理论视角——近年来中国社会阶层分化研究综述》（吕庆春）则比较一般，仅供参考。</P>
<P>（二）具体的研究——社科院两大报告：</P>
<P>《当代中国社会阶层研究报告》以及其后的《当代中国社会流动》。我找不到全书/全文，只能找到缩略的版本。</P>
<P>（三）具体的研究——宏观：</P>
<P>1、Sociological Dimensions of China's Economic Transition--Organization, Stratification, and Social Mobility<BR>我粗略看了一下，感觉是很精彩的一篇文章，严重推荐！<BR>2、《制度转型与分层结构的变迁——阶层相对关系模式的“双重再生产”》<BR>比较棒的一个研究，发在了“中国社会科学”上了，推荐！<BR>3、《当代中国社会阶层的经济分化》（李春玲，2002-04）<BR>做了不少实证的工作。<BR>4、《关于中国社会分层问题──经济学家与社会学家对话》<BR>不知道能不能提供一个不一样的视角？</P>
<P>（四）具体的研究——中产阶级专题</P>
<P>1、《中产阶级与普世制度（冼言）》和《中产阶级与民主制度（毛寿龙）》<BR>二者都论述了一个接近的观点：现代民主制度的实现需要中产阶级的壮大以及纺锤式社会结构的形成。<BR>2、《中产阶级与产权保护（陈志武）》<BR>文章指出：庞大的中产阶级是最终实现私有产权制度的基础。<BR>3、《建设中产阶级社会（冼言）》<BR>文章要论述的是：使中国社会目前的自由主义政治主张和马克思主义历史逻辑相融合的重要途径恰恰是庞大的中产阶级的形成，融合和这两个知行相悖的理念可以结束现今中国社会目前的“精神分裂”。<BR>4、《“中产阶级”如何形成？（王思睿）》<BR>反对冼言的观点的，作为一种调整吧。<BR>5、《私营企业主阶层在我国社会结构中的地位》<BR>也是“中国社会科学”上的文章，不过有点老。<BR>（1～4都是“北京社会经济研究所网站”上面下载下来的，也许那里的东西不一定适合在研究论文里引用）</P>

Thus, it is imperative to take a more comprehensive and cross-disciplinary approach to understand the complete picture of corruption. The research findings indicate economic freedom, socio-political stability, tradition of law abidance and national cultures are the major variables that dictate the degree of corruption. This study expands the existing knowledge about the determinants of corruption and provides incremental information to help the policy makers fight against this cancerous social disease.</P>
