请教各位高手：因素分析时如果旋转方式采用promax，那么因素的归类在结果中应该读取pattern matrix还是structure matrix？

我一般是用varimax，对那个不太熟悉。我再看看。

一般不是都用varimax旋转么

这个问题我看了很多资料都没有明确指出，但是国外一些SPSS教程读取的是pattern matrix.国外一些学习SPSS的学生也问过和你类似的问题，教授的回答如下：
The pattern matrix elements are analogous to
the standardized regression coefficients from a
multiple regression.  A given element of the
pattern matrix indicates the importance of that
variable to the factor with the influence of the other
variables partialled out.

The structure matrix elements are simple correlations
of the variables with the factors.  They reflect all
paths from a factor to a variable (this includes factor
to factor paths, since factors are correlated), while the
pattern coefficients reflect only the direct path from a
factor to a variable.

In interpreting your factor solution, you should look
at both.
