1.No boubt gamblers increase market volatility greatly, and it has become an outstanding part of a market. We cannot prohibit people's behaviors in market unless it's illegal. But we do not encourge the gambling in market because it makes people more dangerous. However, it is inevitable in market and we can only accept it.
2.Hedging funds want to earn as much money as other funds and individual investors. But they do have a strategies to make their buying and selling more safe for most of the occations. In the earliest markets they call it hedging, but in mordern markets it means more than hedging
