We are looking for an experienced and effective Data Analyst to help us turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include requirements analysis and design, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify possible improvements. Position Responsibilities: Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems Work closely with management to prioritize business and informational requirements Identify and define new process improvement opportunities Position Qualifications: 3-5 yrs of proven experience as a data analyst Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc.), and programming (XML, Javascript) Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, etc.) Strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with accuracy and attention to detail Adept at queries, report writing, and findings presentation Post-secondary education in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Compensation: To be determined based on qualifications and experience.
