I used R in school. But never heard anyone working industry use R in his company. Heath and pension actuaries are Excel users.
For Life actuaries, the common commercial softwares used are :

MoSes / TAS (Tillinghast)
MG-ALFA (Milliman)
ARCVAL ( Actuarial Resources)
AXIS (GGY)
Prophet (SunGuard)
PTS (SS&C); almost obsolete

很多软件都能做，Excel 加Add-ins就行

还没有见过在保险公司精算部门用R的,很多health insurance公司用SAS

见过有R&D部门用R做图的。
不过很多insurer用SAS确实是真的。
