这绝对是这个系列最得当的收官。首先这是一部非常成熟的商业片，从场景特效到人物故事，每一样都相辅相成得刚刚好。而凯撒的成长，更是这个系列的妙义所在；从第一部的自我建立，到第二部的自我认知，再到这一部的自我升华，凯撒带领一众徒子徒孙完成了一场人类也无法企及的精神建设。回看这个系列，真的从始至终都表达了自己要说的东西，作为暑期大片实为难得。这部终章直指美国是建立在奴隶制的基础上——猿族劳役时竟大放星条旗永不落，真是太讽刺。反派就像纳粹种族清洗者和现代启示录的白兰度的结合，纳粹思维的荒谬和疯狂令人瞠目。瑟金斯真的值一个奥斯卡提名。当一部商业终章把更多钱砸在角色的举手投足而非场面上，扎扎实实将思辨进行到底，足够赢得我的尊敬。这一部不再只有讽刺或呼吁，更通过凯撒和上校两方领袖的对位，去探讨人真正的优越性何在，又是怎样逐渐失去的。主宰地位之更迭，其根本在于物种优越性的转移，而非这场假想战争的胜负。所以交给自然。气质独特，节奏迟缓（非贬义）。“人性”会不会其实和“人类”无关，当前人类是不是文明好的承载者，这两个问题提的很好，答的也不错。不管最后有没有成为经典，都是影史上关于人类生存母题的一次有益尝试。

In this third version of the Planet of the Apes film, it has been 15 years since the ALZ-113 virus - also known by the human survivors as as the Simian Flu - spread across the globe killing billions of people (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), leading to a rise of intelligent apes. Their leader, the chimpanzee Caesar (Andy Serkis), had tried to maintain peace between the apes and humans, until the chip Koba (Toby Kebbell) betrayed the apes and brought on the dawn of a new conflict (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). Now, Caesar and his clan are hiding out in a command base in the Muir Woods while a ruthless Special Forces Colonel of the military faction Alpha-Omega is out to get them. The humans and apes are now caught up in all-out war.
在一切透着强烈忧患意识的科幻或寓言大片中，可能最爱猩球系列。它的格局尤以此部跳出人类中心主义，通过人类之间、猿族之间、人猿之间的厮杀，预言着进化的糟糕结果。调子却并不悲观，转乘起合的节奏类似权力游戏第六季结尾，绵长和重复的极简音乐带动着凯撒的角色成长。人猩斗争的激烈只是表象，背后全是浓浓的无力感，无论是恐惧谁占上风，都走投无路。虽然做好了心理准备，还是意料之外的压抑，我喜欢这个终章，却并不享受，导演及其团队并没有如“你我所料”给出一个酣畅淋漓的所谓“终极之战”，你能看到的是人类一方垂死前最后的残暴与疯狂，猿类崛起的凄惨代价，看完之后非常难过，凯撒，愿你不朽。

War for the Planet of the Apes continues the franchises resurgence with a thoughtful action film that rides the moral line effectively to make you truly wonder which side you should be rooting for. While I don't think it is the best film of the rebooted universe, it is a strong addition that finishes the trilogy with an emotionally complex story that keeps you guessing until the end. This felt a little long at 2 1/2 hours, but this is a minor complaint. There's surprising only small doses of action sprinkled into the somber setting and plot, but they are nonetheless effective. The performances are noteworthy, especially Andy Serkis as Caesar once again. Woody Harrelson plays a strong villain as well. This is a worthwhile trip to the theater if you want more than just brainless action in your summer blockbusters.
前半部分节奏慢到几乎不像一部商业片，人猿大战到最后，有了一切战争的缩影。凯撒一直和自我对抗，Colonel则完全偏执和疯狂，这真的都非常现代启示录。人猿关系则堪比纳粹和犹太人。但是从另一个层面来说，这一切都拍得太寓言化了，显得不够有张力。人猿外表下的出埃及记，视觉传达到剧情推进可以作为商业片范例，原声音乐是这一年来最好的表现，完全融合手语表达的猩猩们。英雄迟暮。妈呀，凯撒的表演做得太好了，真是要给Andy和整个特效团队影帝才好！好几个表情看得我十分动容。
