Who are we?
VIP Research & Management (VIP) is a regulated investment advisorycompany based in South Korea, with total assets under management of USD 1.3billion. Our history roots back to 2003 when Peter Kim and JC Choi co-foundedthe company to pursue value investing, at the time a rare investment strategyin Korea. Our AUM is comprised of funds from high net worth individuals,institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds. Internship – InvestmentAssociate:
We look for students striving to become value investors in the GreaterChina Region. Your job is to identify the best investment opportunities availablein the public market. To do so, you are expected to conduct in-depth company& industry research, quantitative screening, management meetings, and otherperipheral work supporting senior managers. Your insights will help us makelong-term investments.
From experience, we learned that this job requires a multi-year endeavor. Itrequires passion and perseverance from both you and us. We promise to do ourbest to support you throughout your internship. We hope you take it notjust as an opportunity to obtain a full-time employment if you perform well, butalso a starting point of your long-lasting valueinvesting journey.
General Requirements:
Ÿ The internship would take place in Shenzhen, China.
Ÿ We prefer candidates with strong passion for valueinvesting, as well as good knowledge in equity investment, financial statementanalysis, and excel (VBA).
Ÿ We require candidates to be fluent in Mandarin and English.
Ÿ This opportunity is open for both undergraduates and graduates. We welcomecandidates of all nationalities.
Remuneration:
Ÿ Monthly compensation and housing subsidy.
