Post Specification
Research Fellow or Research Associate or Research Assistant (Ref. 99253)
[Appointment period: twelve months]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project – “Media coverage as a corporate monitoring mechanism in China’s stock market”.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Research Fellow post should have a doctoral degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting plus three or more years of postdoctoral research experience or equivalent qualifications and experience. Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a master’s degree or a good honours degree in the said disciplines with three or more years of research/relevant work experience. Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have a good honours degree in the said disciplines or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants should also:
(a) have some experience in undertaking independent research or providing research assistance for a business-related research project;
(b) be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be attentive to details;
(c) have good communication and interpersonal skills; and
(d) have a good command of English and Chinese.

Remuneration
Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
