今天上课的时候讨论：China has comparative advantage in manufacturing (Any one of the three things you touch in US is manufactured in China). Then why doesn't China specialize in manufacturing. Why does China starts to import? International trade theory tells us that countries should fully specialize in things that they have comparative advantage in.我是我们班唯一一个中国人，可是我很丢脸的只能想到两点：1。有些东西必须本地制造，比如服务业，所以中国也生产服务业 2。如果中国纯粹依靠出口，那经济就完全依赖其他国家，太危险。
请大家指点一下还有别的什么理由来阐述为什么中国不specialize in manufacturing export。谢谢

这些都是2digit .里面还有更细的分工的.

另外,我并不是特别了解中国的出口与进口,但是就我现在知道的而言,正如你说的,中国出口很多制造品.但是很多制造品里面并不完全都是劳动力密集的产品,很多也是技术密集的,诸如DK, DL. DM.

所以你不能简单地说中国为什么不specialize in manufacturing export, 技术密集的产品中国还是需要进口的,出口的是劳动力密集的产品.

还有,最后不要忘记加上这句话告诉你的同学,
中国正在越来越强大,很快就会有一天这种趋势会扭转过来的.
