想计算一个行业的E/A，应该将该行业每一家上市公司的E/A求出来，再平均？还是将该行业所有公司的E和A求和，然后用这个总的E/总的A呢？谢谢~~~

in my opinions,the first method is comparably better.the reasons present as follows:

1).each company of some industry is an individual entity,which operates independently and makes profit independently.they have their own ability of earning money.

2).taking an example of CSMAR for it,the database on marketing always has the earnings/assert rate .we can use it directly and conviniently.
