Sir John Hicks made a significant contribution to almost every aspect of modern economic theory. The Legacy of Hicks brings together essays written by some of the world's leading economists who are not only familiar with Hicks' work, but have also made outstanding contributions in their own right. The work is organized in such a way as to stress both the impact of Hicks on economics in general and more specifically on the foundations of economic theory.
