Today at mommy and me class, we talked about to give the child the opportunity to learn, and make it fun. Angela shared her story about her daughter, who swam in the national team. People always said about how her daughter is gifted. Actually she said when her daughter was four years old she stomped and said to her mother I will never step in that swimming pool ever again.  Guess what, her mother made her to go back and to at least learn how to swim.  It’s a life skill. She was provided with the opportunity, and then she fell in love with it. She just spent so much time in the water, and practiced relentlessly.  Here you guessed it, give the opportunity and make it fun.  It will be very rewarding.  I think I will take her advice and let Elizabeth figures it out on her own, however I will provide as much opportunities as possible, and make it fun for her to learn.
