i only studied two books about stata, both introductory: one by STATA, the other by Hamilton.
after that introductory learning period (about two years), I learn about more advanced topics when I need them, by consulting the STATA manuals and stat/econometrics books. remember: practice makes perfect.
my opinion is that you don't need such a book, unless you are a statistics or econometrics student.
thank u for ur valuable advice
