log里提示“some character data wat lost during transcoding in the dataset ece.vib.”什么意思呢？结果出来是一张只要变量名的空表。还请大侠指教！谢谢！

How did you do the transcoding?Perhaps you did not add $? Can you show us the SAS code you wrote for the transcoding?

i just used "；rename cd=stkcd；",so is there something wrong with this code?i didn't use the "$",can you tell me the meaning of  "$"?

我也遇到了同样的问题: Some character data was lost during transcoding in the dataset CSS.TEST1. Either the data contains
       characters that are not representable in the new encoding or truncation occurred during transcoding.

请高手帮忙阿~~~~
