The problems can be solved using steps below:
1. download xtptm
2. unrar/unzip the file to a specified location
3. read read me.txt
4. copy all files in the working directory - should be in ado folder of Stata program folder
5. download moremata - type - findit moremata - in stata and download all relevant files
6. open ado file using ado window inside stata and run both xtptm.ado and stradd.ado
7. open your data in stata
8. run xtptm command to estimate your model
9. GOOD LUCK

能和你交流吗？我正在写论文可是门槛值不会求，想用xtptm程序却用不好，我想寻求你的帮助。
我按照你说的方法，首先下载moremata，然后把xtptm按照到c盘stata中ado文件夹下，在stata中打开xtptm.ado和stradd，接着打开数据，运行xtptm cash cashflow salesgrow lev div nwc capx rx（xtptm） thvar（larsh） iters（50） regime（1）却显示factor variables and time-series operators not allowed，我不太明白怎么回事
