The 2010 International Conference on Insurance and Actuarial Science

- Objective The 2010 International Conference on Insurance and Actuarial Science will be held at Chongqing University, China, June 5-7, 2010. The purpose of this conference is to promote the exchange of ideas and techniques in the field of insurance and actuarial science and to advance research and education of insurance and actuarial science in China. The conference consists of invited plenary lectures presented by leading specialists, a variety of invited sessions and contributed talks. The conference is open to all who share an interest in promoting education and research in insurance and actuarial science.
The topics of the conference would include: economics of insurance, finance in insurance, life insurance, risk management, risk models, ruin theory, stochastic control in insurance.
A short course titled "Topics in Classical Ruin Theory" will be given by Professor David Dickson after the conference (June 8-10, 2010). Graduate students and young researchers are welcome to the short course. Registration to the short course is free. By Airport Express:
You can ride on the Airport Express Line from the Airport Station to Shangqingsi Station, and then change to BUS from Shangqingsi Station to Shapingba, where the University is located. Then to Keyuan Hotel! The single journey fare of an adult from the Airport Station to Shangqingsi Station is 15 yuan.
By Taxi:
Ask the taxi driver to take you to Keyuan Hotel of Chongqing University.
