California, Berkeley. He has written books on a wide variety of economics subjects. Marc Flandreau is a
researcher at the Centre National Recherche Scientifique in Paris, and an associate researcher at the
Observatoire Français des Conjonctures Economiques, Paris. He is a specialist in the theory and history of
the international monetary system.
