In the past three years, agribusiness has offered greater opportunities for Agricultural Economics B.S. graduates than any other single type of employment. Employment in agribusiness firms has also been active for other agricultural school graduates with business majors. These offers have provided excellent opportunity both in quantity and quality of professional jobs. Thus the role of departments of Agricultural Economics in meeting this need is important to both students and the agribusiness industry.
