It's the reliability coefficient, measuring the internal consistency of a scale or an instrument. For example, after you run factor analysis, and you want to know the reliability of a factor, you need to run reliability analysis and get the cronbach's alpha. High value indicates good reliability. Normally we need it to be equal to or larger than 0.8.
