求助：op. sys. refuses to provide memory？

我用stata自带的auto文件做回归，若用菜单file---open打开，再回归：
    regress price mpg
    则提示：
    “op. sys. refuses to provide memory
    r(909);”？？
    而用命令“sysuse auto,clear”,再回归，则正常。
    这是为什么？
