1. Data management---Project manager  Both Senior Associate and Vice President

Responsibilities:

·         Manage data management projects end-to-end working closely with business sponsors, business analysts, development, production and research teams.  

·         Manage all aspects of project communication with project teams and key stakeholders

·         Manage alignment with project managers who own parallel, dependent projects

·         Champion the principles and standards of MSCI Data Management and ensure that these are enforced at all times.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

·         BA/BS in Financial Data Processing, Banking, Computer, Engineering or related field. Masters degree is a plus.

·         Minimum of 6 years managing large scale technology or data oriented projects across functional groups

·         Expertise in developing detailed plans for complex projects with changing requirements, resources and aggressive schedules

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills

·         Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project management processes and tools (MS Project)

·         Outstanding verbal and written communication

·         Proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio

·         Interest in the mechanics of global financial markets and the investment process

·         Flexibility in work hours necessary to interact with a global team

·         Work experience in a foreign country or with an international company a plus

2. Software Developer

REQUIREMENTS
 Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
 Java experience
 Experience in object-oriented design
 Full development lifecycle experience
 Ability to work well in a team environment
 JSP, XHTML, JavaScript
 XML schema/DTD, XML   Java binding
 Experience with JUnit
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
 Experience with: Eclipse, Tomcat, CVS, SVN, Maven, SOAP, Web Services
 Experience with Corda or BFO a plus
 Experience with Agile software development teams (XP teams) a plus
 Experience in projects that span multiple geographic locations
 Experience with AJAX, JSP Tag libraries, CSS
 Experience in financial services a plus
 Internationalization and localization of an application
 Production support
 Relational database modeling, SQL, Oracle
 Experience integrating with a relational database back end, JDBC

       Perl/CGI experience a plus

3. ESG QA Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·
Manually execute a UI test plan in a Web Application and document any errors.
·
Develop, monitor, and intervene on automated test scripts for workflow, web services and user interfaces.
·
Document results for benchmarking purposes and track performance.
·
Investigate client issues and work with the team to provide resolution.
·
Manage and track our product quality via issue tracking system.




DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:


·
Written and oral proficiency in English
·
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering
·
2years of QA work experience
·
Programming experience with C++, Java, Perl or Ruby
·
Understanding of relational database queries, particularly using Oracle
·
High degree of motivation, with strong communications skills and ability to learn quickly.
·
Understanding of REST and SOAP-based web services
·
Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering
