答案应该是C吧，变量长度应该由第一次出现时的长度决定，这样理解对吗？高人们出来指点一下吧。

The LENGTH statement enables you to specify the length of a character variable. Since
the LENGTH statement appears before the SET statement, SAS will set the length of
jobcode to 12.
