Hi, guys,

I have a question about the understanding of a phrase.

when i learn mixed effect model, there is a robust variance estimation of data which coding atfer proc mixed as empirical.

Now i have a question ---- "how would a robust change these results (estimated mean difference between treatment groups)? "  
Is robust procedure here the same as robust estimation?
