It's too appalling for words.

讲解

Appalling，意思就是“令人震惊的，极为恶劣的”，shocking, extremely bad. 比如说：有些人的居住环境极为恶劣，就可以说 live in appalling conditions. 骇人听闻的犯罪，appalling crimes，骇人听闻的行为 appalling behaviors，令人发指的现实 appalling reality，震惊到难以言表，It's too appalling for words.
