A top tier European law firm is seeking high calibre candidates to fill the following position in its Shanghai office:
Position:
Assistant Accountant – Billing
Work Location:
Shanghai
Main Responsibilities:
§ Input and maintain the daily data of routine book-keeping in Elite system, compiling and filing of financial documents.
§ Issue monthly bills to clear the work-in-progress balance, maintain the file list and billing records, post disbursements, credit notes and write-offs etc. in time assigned by supervisor
§ Collect of payment with support from fee earners, and send payment reminders timely.
§ Receipts bookkeeping and timely updating of collection status, issue official tax invoices when payment received or per request of clients.
§Assist in month-end closing process.(Daily receipts, monthly aging report, etc.)
§ Maintain healthy relationships with client company financial contact.
§ Other ad hoc finance asks as necessary
Requirements:
§ University graduate majored in Accounting/Finance, Business or Economics
§ Fresh graduate, with 1 or 2 years relevant work experience is a plus
§ Accounting take-up certificate in China
§ Knowledge of billing processes, customer service and credit policies is a plus
§ Excellent communication and coordination skills, fluent English in verbal and written
§ Good PC knowledge and skill in using Microsoft Office software, especially Word & Excel, accounting software, such as Kingdee
§ Hardworking, independent, highly self-motivated and can work under time pressure with a positive can-do attitude
§ Accurate, enthusiastic, detail oriented, well organized and self disciplined
