Gene Expression Programming with Learning Ability

SHI You1,XIE Da-tong2,ZHANG Zhi-yong1(1.Network Center,Hunan Normal University,Changsha 410081,China;2.Department of Computer Science,Fujian Commercial College,Fuzhou 350012,China)  

A gene expression programming algorithm embedded with estimation of distribution algorithms,LPGEP,is proposed here.The algorithm can not only build probabilistic model to guide the individuals to evolve,but also carry out parameter optimization,aiming at the best individuals.The experiments show that the algorithm enhances the learning ability of gene expression programming and improves the precision of the model.
