Western Digital Corp., up $2.19, to $31.44. The disk-drives maker raised its quarterly revenue forecast to at least $1.8billion from $1.25billion after rebounding from a flood in Thailand that impacted its factories and supplies.

Big Lots Inc., down $3.45, to $36.28. The company posted third-quarter earnings, excluding some items, of 6 cents a share, missing average analysts' estimates.

H&R Block Inc., down $1.03, to $15.03. The tax preparer reported a second-quarter loss, excluding some items, of 38 cents a share, missing the average analyst's estimate by 9.2percent, Bloomberg News data says.
