Raised PV demand forecast; capacity utilization rising
We have raised our 2007-08 growth forecast for passenger vehicle sales (excl.
crossovers) from 20% to 29% and 20% to 24%, respectively, following the robust
trend in past few months. As the speed of capacity expansion is poised to slow,
we estimate industry utilization will rise from 72% in 2006 to 74% in 07, and 77%
in 08 and 79% in 09.
