US$113mn outflows from Asian funds thank to heavy redemptions from China
— In the week ended February 7, outflows from China country funds (with AUM
at US$17bn in total) reached US$440mn, the largest on record. Meanwhile,
Greater China funds reported their first outflows in five months (US$188mn)
whereas redemptions from Hong Kong country funds exploded to US$28mn
from US$0.3mn the week before.
