Yes, I agree with your point. These GDP projects do provide jobs and distribute wealth to labors, although the payment is pretty low. But when the government pay too much attention on these projects, our economic structure goes imbalanced. Let's see those much more advanced nations, their economic structure focuses more on service industry.
Now our leaders are frustrating with the high inflation rates and the liquidity risk. Creating more jobs can help to keep the society in peace, while in the long run, we need more developed industries such as medicals, electronics, etc...

Can't to see the picture for the web signal, I'd like to express my opinions on the topic. We all have witnessed the high economic developing speed in China, but not all us agree that the the way is sustainable. The political plays a vital role on the economic in China.  And the finance system was far more to develop to support the private companies. China-mode has so many problem to be solved, which take long time to eclipse the America's. What's more, the wide gap between the rich and the poor and some other aspects will result in society unstable if the problem unsolved.
