<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">The producer services, which brought up firstly by the American economist H.Greenfield in 1966, was defined that it is intermediate inputs, which can be used to produce the ultimate goods and services and it is an activity which is just for producing, but not providing services to individual consumers. <o:p></o:p></FONT></P>
<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">Since H.Greenfield brought up the concept of the producer services, the study of Producer services has never interrupted all over the world. In this short article, I will emphasize effects of the producer services on the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">China</st1:place></st1:country-region>'s economy.<o:p></o:p></FONT></P>
<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">Firstly, it is an effective means to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises by developing producer services. As the economic globalization deepens, competition which once between enterprises is changing into competition between the supply chains, and the enterprises which dominate the chains are becoming important. In other words, the core competitiveness of enterprises in the market is closely related to the level of producer services and their supply chains.<o:p></o:p></FONT></P>
<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">Secondly, it is a good choice to upgrade the structure of industry by developing producer services. Developing producer services will not only change the situation which services develop slowly in china, but also can coordinate structures of three industries. Besides, it can accelerate the technological progress in traditional industries and improve our competitiveness in the traditional industry as the development of the R &amp; D and the designed departments. So it enhances the level of <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">China</st1:place></st1:country-region>'s industries. <o:p></o:p></FONT></P>
<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">Thirdly, it is an important way to change the mode of economic growth by developing producer services. One important feature of the new path of industrialization is that information technology stimulates the industrialization, in a certain sense, that requires using information in the field of industry and developing industrial information services. Another feature of the new path of industrialization is to improve economic efficiency and competitiveness, but this also requires high-quality design and technology services, business services, modern producer services and financial services.  <o:p></o:p></FONT></P>
<P ><FONT face="Times New Roman">Briefly, we can easily see that the producer services can deepen specialization, lower the costs of social transactions, improve the efficiency of allocation in resources and enhance the core competitiveness of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">China</st1:country-region></st1:place>'s economy. Therefore, in the future, we must promote its rapid development.<o:p></o:p></FONT></P>
