The file "index" will tell you which files are associated with which books. or you can go to
ftp://ftp.sas.com/pub/publications/index
and see the list of books they have codes with.
File names starting with an "A" are plain ASCII text files while those starting with a "B"
are binary files in SAS transport format (you need to use PROC CIMPORT
to import this file into SAS). Files are stored in compressed format
(as indicated by a ".Z" extension) and in uncompressed format.

Then you don't need to type the codes from your book into SAS.
