I think that what you mean by "赤字", is particular for government deficit rather than trade deficit.

When the country faces inadequate aggregate demand, there are risks that the economy is perform below equilibrium. As a result, using government deficit may help to solve the problem and push the economy to its equilibrium.

However, trade deficit is resulted from demand itself. It is not something can used to deal with the unbalanced demand-supply relation.

We can see it in the international markets of both goods and capital:
Trade deficit means import>export.
so,NX <0, (Net export=Export—Import )
at the same time we know that Y=C+I+G+NX, so Y>C+I+G
And Y-C-G>I,
as a result Saving>Investment (S=Y-C-G)
that is NCO>0.
