The Department of Finance at the University of Melbourne invites applications for its redesigned Ph.D. program in Finance. The program offers rigorous research training co-taught by internationally known researchers from U.S. and European universities. Successful applicants will receive a full stipend plus a generous research budget. Program completion is expected within 4-5 years.
To help prospective students better understand our program, the department will hold an information session from 6 to 8pm on Friday, July 12th, in the Shanghai Hilton Hotel during the CICF 2013 Conference in Shanghai.
The information session is open to research oriented students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels with background in economics, finance, science and engineering, and any other discipline which has a sufficient quantitative component in the curriculum.
