And Elan, which still made the<br/>list with $1.1 billion in sales, actually lost $639 million<br/>for the year and dropped from 37 to 46.<br/>Others companies generated substantial growth,<br/>including most Japanese manufacturers, which in the past few years<br/>had struggled against a weak yen and shrinking government reimbursements.<br/>Eisai and Fujisawa both made the list of the fastest growing<br/>companies.
