Serbian President met with Elephant Alliance, Reached Consensus on Cooperation
August 27, 2013 morning, the Republic of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic met with Elephant Alliance Chairman Jin Chenglong and his entourage. President Nikolic listened to the Elephant Alliance’s development programs in Serbia, and expressed high recognition on Elephant Alliance’s development model in Serbia. The two sides reached consensus on cooperation.
During the meeting, Chairman Jin first thanked His Excellency the President for taking time out of his busy schedule to receive Elephant Alliance and then introduced to President Nikolic details of the Elephant Alliance’s development program in Serbia including industry, finance, international trade, infrastructural development, vocational training and other fields.
He also highlighted the cooperation in areas of industry and international trade and especially Elephant Alliance’s "Grand transfer of industries" model. His Excellency the President was very impressed and gave Elephant Alliance’s model very high recognition. The president indicated intention for mutual cooperation and the willingness for reaching consensus on cooperation. He suggested that Elephant Alliance can communicate directly and cooperate with the Serbian FTA, so the products from Elephant Alliance Industrial Park in Serbia can not only meet the local market needs, but also export to Russia and neighboring European countries.
Meeting was in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere and went unknowingly longer than twice of the scheduled interview time. At the closing of the meeting, Chairman Jin invited President Nikolic to attend the “Elephant Alliance Grand Opening and Collective Contract Signing Ceremony” to be hold in Beijing before the end of the year.
His Excellency the President answered diplomatically: “Thank you! Please inform us when the time comes and if by that time the cooperation between us can start operating, I will come." His Excellency the President then commissioned the Serbian Minister Zoran Djordjevic and the President Advisor represent the President to connect directly with Elephant Alliance and to further identify issues on the signing of a Framework Cooperation Agreement between the two sides.
Participating in the meeting were Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Mining, Minister of Construction, Presidential Adviser, Elephant Alliance Executive President Ms. Chen Jingru, General Manager of Investment Division Dr. Huang Chao-Huan and Business Assistant Mr. Xu Qiang.
