Recently I Install the linux sas9.3 on Ubuntu12.04.
But I can not connect the MS SQL using SAS/ACCESS.
I'm definitely sure that the license include the module "SAS/ACCESS Interface to Microsoft SQL Server".
Will I need to install the MS SQL client on ubuntu?
By the way,I am newbie to use linux.

Linux a clear winner over Windows for hardware I/O.
So performing  the data mining system on linux is more effective than on window.

Sorry I cannot test it out because my Unix SAS only has Base, AF, Graph and Stat.

mysql自己的客户端要装上，然后看环境变量加上没有。一般都是这问题

mysql 一般不怎么受商业软件的待见， 如果你非要用MYSQL 的话， 你可以考虑下 UNIXODBC ， 配置成功下 ISQL 可以连接后， 估计你就可以用SAS 连接了。 但是我没用SAS 连接过ODBC 啊， 不过我试验过其他商业软件通过UNIXODBC 来连接。 另外 ， LINUX SID 可以共享我一个吗， 正在寻找， 多谢 。
