Quantitative Researcher
WorldQuant is a private institutionalinvestment management complex consisting of an international team ofresearchersand technologists who constantly work toward even greater quantification andautomation in thedevelopment of its processes.
Job Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following):
Our research subsidiaries in Beijingand Shanghai are seeking mathematics, computerscience, physics andengineering majors for quantitative researcher positioninvolving the creation of computer-based models that seek topredict themovements of worldwide financial markets. Candidates need not have priorknowledge of financialmarkets, but must have a strong interest in learningabout stock markets and financial markets. Our highlyaccomplished senior staff willprovide the new hires with mentoring and guidance to help them succeed.

Job Qualifications:
l Ph.D. or M.S. degree from aleading China university and B.S. degree from the top university in US,China,(or from other leading universities in the world) in a highly analyticalfield, such as Mathematics, ComputerScience, Physics, Electrical Engineering,Financial Engineering or any other related field that is highlyanalytical andquantitative
l Ranked as top 20% in class forbachelor's degree
l Willing to relocate to one ofour international research offices
l Have a research scientistmind-set, i.e., be a deep thinker, creative, persevering, smart, aself-starter, etc.
l Be competent in a programminglanguage (C++ or C)
l Possess good English languageskills
l Have a strong interest inlearning about worldwide financial markets
l Have a strong work ethic
