关于matlab读取excel和SPSS数据的问题

为什么我用xlsread()读取的时候，总提示错误
>> xlsread('Book1')
Warning: Could not start Excel server for import. Refer to documentation.

这个错误怎么解决啊，哪位大声能告诉我？
我用百度搜了一下matlab读取SPSS数据的方法，有人说方法是：
1.运行SPSS，读取数据文件后按Analyze→Correlate→Bivariate顺序单击菜单项，展开对话框； 2.制定分析变量，选择源变量栏中的Y、X1、X2送入Variable(s)栏；这是什么意思啊，看不懂，SPSS17.0里面找不到这些选项啊，分析→相关→双 哪位大神能告诉我怎样用matlab读SPSS17.0里面的数据？

举个例子：假设你的数据路径为“E:\data\book1.xls”;那么读取它的语句为：
xlsread('E:\data\book1.xls',1,'A2:B10'),其中‘1’表示‘sheet1’,'A2:B10'表示数据具体位置.至于spss数据，你还是先转为excel再读取吧。

按照你说的改了，依然提示：xlsread('g:\Program Files\MATLAB71\work\book1.xls',1,'A2:A4')

额 这什么情况 是不是你的matlab装的有问题

是不是里面含有中文？暂时不支持中文读取。
