Head of Credit Research for UBSS's FICC team

Responsibilities:

1. Provides investment recommendations based on modeling, valuation and risk assessments.

2. Conducts financial statement analysis, builds and maintains financial models to evaluate historical information and generates projections.

3. Converts industry knowledge into investment opinions.

4. Analyzes data to assess and describe current and long term trends.

5. Remains current on market developments to help frame investment strategies.

6. Conducts valuation analysis within an industry, sector, or asset class.

7. Communicates with internal and external clients, as appropriate, to convey investment recommendations and ideas.

8. Prepares and publishes research reports.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Accountant, MBA (or CFA), or a postgraduate degree;

2. At least five years of experience as an analyst (absolute necessary), preferably on the buy side or the sell side;

3. Excellent communication skills with strong writing and verbal ability in Mandarin and English.

4. Ability to think critically and creatively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

5. Strong quantitative and analytical skills

6. Highest level of research independence and professionalism;

7. Willingness to travel often for company visits, and client services

8. Experienced in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Bloomberg
