根据项目要求, 实习生将在UNDP的办公室或项目办公室协助与开发领域相关的项目管理、组织学习班/研讨会、收集整理信息资料等。
实习期可长可短,根据申请者的学业安排及联合国开发计划署的工作要求而定。
实习期: 一般从一个月到六个月不等,可全职也可兼职(每天8小时, 每周5天)。
The UNDP China Internship Programme offers a small group of outstanding university students and graduates the opportunity to acquire experience working as interns in the United Nations system.
3 steps to becoming an intern of UNDP China:
1. Register your basic information on UNDP China Internship website. (http://intern.undp.org.cn )
2. A staff member from UNDP China will send an email to request your CV or resume when there is an internship post available.
3. Send your CV or resume to the staff member and wait for the response.
The UNDP China Internship Programme offers to a small group of outstanding university students and graduates the opportunity to acquire experience working as interns in the United Nations Development Programme. Through this programme, interns will be exposed to UNDP's development activities, thematic priorities, and technical cooperation practices. Interns specialize in the areas of democratic governance, poverty reduction, environment and energy, HIV/AIDS, donor coordination, private sector development and other activities related to sustainable human development. Interns acquire practical experience in various aspects of project management in an international working environment.
Under the programme, interns will work in UNDP Office and/or UNDP project office assisting in e.g. programme management, organization of workshop/seminar and preparation of briefing and information materials paper on development subjects.
Assignments may vary in length, according to availability and academic requirements as well as the need of the Office of UNDP China.
Duration: 1 month to 6 months, part-time or full-time (8 hours/day, 5 days/week).
The internship programme operates on a non-remunerative basis. The subsistence and travel costs connected with the internship programme must be borne by interns or by other institutions. Interns are responsible for arranging their own travel to Beijing and accommodations there.
If work-related travel within the country is requested by UNDP during the internship period, per diem and travel costs shall be paid by UNDP.
If selected, the Country Office will provide assistance to the Intern in getting a visa to come to Beijing.
UNDP accepts no responsibility for costs or hardships arising from illness or accidents incurred during the internship. Interns must carry adequate medical and life insurance. Proof of medical coverage/visa must be provided before the internship commences.
