A company extends its trade credit terms by four days to all its credit customers. The most likely effect of this change to the company's credit customers is a four-day:

        increase in the company's operating cycle.
        decrease in the company's net operating cycle.
        decrease in the company's operating cycle.
能给我解释一下为什么选第二个吗？
CFA给的答案是The company's customers are receiving a four-day increase in their number of days of payables, which will reduce the company's cash conversion cycle (net operating cycle) by four days.
这不应该影响 number of days of receivables

他说的是公司给客户延长了4天。所以对客户来说，是payable延长了四天。问题问的是对客户来说。

非常感谢，我还想再问一下，那也就是说答案decrease in the company's net operating cycle中的the company 指的是cumtomer了？ 而不是题目中的那个a company ？

Net operating cycel=cash cycle=inventory days+AR days-AP days. right?
