"every company in the country is fiddling its profits. every set of published accounts is based on books whihc have been gently cooked or completely roasted'.(ian griffiths, creative accounting, 1986:1)

discuss the above statement with respect to what is understood by creative accounting, the opportunities for its practice and the problems associated with it. use some examples of creative accounting happened in the past to issustrate. explain how recent accounting standards have attempted to deal with the problems of creative accounting.

上次传了这个题目，大家好像不是很了解，其实呢，creative accounting 中文就是盈余管理。关于这个话题，有很多反对的声音，可是，我个人观点认为，盈余管理也能给公司带来很多好处，就好像是一个将死之人只要一口水就能活下来一样。只不过呢，人们都很贪心，总是想把公司的利润做得更高一点，就像衍生工具一样，最后到了一个不可收场的地步。

说了这么多，不知道大家有什么样的观点呢。
