这本书比较适合空间计量初学者，模型也是最简单的几个，但是针对这几个模型提供的估计方法很全面，每节之后也会有一个小例子帮助理解。高深专题并未做过多的探讨，但提供了大致方向。
每章后面有着极其详细的R程序，就像手把手教你用R做空间计量一样，是一本很友好的空间计量教材。
然而由于作者为意大利人，符号的表示上可能与我们所使用的有着细微的不同。书中也有几处错误，希望读者能够提出质疑，并独立思考与解决。
