I just did a Google search. If the sort is done in memory, it takes about 4x memory (https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings10/140-2010.pdf&ved=0CBoQFjAAahUKEwjjxPvQs9DIAhUJOIgKHec3CdY&usg=AFQjCNEMwCSVgICLlXxcIPaVuLxSggEbwA)

if on hard drive, it takes 3x (see question 5: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.popcenter.umd.edu/resources/research-tools/stats-support/sas-frequently-asked-questions&ved=0CBoQFjAAahUKEwiQ4Oi1sNDIAhWCL4gKHcJ6Bkk&usg=AFQjCNEA3ewee7I65WQJjRbJ3noj13JBQA)

Because the question doesn't specify memory I would say 3 times.
