Most of the world's big economies are close to emerging from recession, according to data published yesterday by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development that pointed to a possible recovery by the end of the year.	经济合作与发展组织(OECD)昨日发布的数据显示，全球多数大型经济体即将摆脱衰退，有可能在年底前出现复苏。
The Paris-based organisation reported in its latest monthly analysis of forward-looking indicators that a “possible trough” had been reached in April in more developed countries that make up almost three quarters of the world's gross domestic product.	总部位于巴黎的经合组织在其对前瞻性指标的最新月度分析中表示，占全球国内生产总值(GDP)近四分之三的发达经济体，可能已在4月份触及“谷底”。
The composite index for 30 economies rose 0.5 points in April, the second monthly rise in a row, after falling for the previous 21 months. The index seeks to identify turning points in the cycle about six months in advance.	针对30个经济体的综合指数4月份上升0.5点，为连续第二个月上升，此前该指数曾连续21个月下降。该指数寻求提前6个月左右找出周期中的转折点。
The OECD said its overall measure of advanced member countries – ranging from the eurozone and the UK to the US, Mexico and Japan – now pointed to “recovery” instead of the “strong slowdown” they had been suffering since last August.	经合组织表示，其发达成员国——从欧元区和英国，到美国、墨西哥和日本——总体指标目前显示出“复苏”，而非自去年8月起一直困扰它们的“强劲放缓”。
“It is still too early to assess whether it is a temporary or a more durable turning point,” the organisation said. But the data “point to a reduced pace of deterioration in most of the OECD economies with stronger signals of a possible trough in Canada, France, Italy and the United Kingdom”.	该组织表示，“判定这是一种暂时现象，还是一种更为持久的转折，目前还为时尚早。”但上述数据“表明，在多数经合组织经济体中，经济恶化的步伐有所减缓，同时有更强有力的迹象表明，加拿大、法国、意大利和英国可能已见底。”
The improved global outlook came amid evidence that the US jobs market strengthened in May for the first time in 16 months. The Conference Board said its employment trends index moved up to 89.9 last month from 89.7 in April. This follows data last week that showed the US shed far fewer jobs than expected in May.	在全球经济前景有所提升之际，有数据表明，美国5月份就业市场出现了16个月来的首次改善。大企业联合会(Conference Board)表示，其就业趋势指数上月升至89.9，高于4月份的89.7。而上周有数据显示，5月份美国企业的裁员数量远低于预期水平。
