大家好！

在expand 变量时，出现以下红字：

expand EVENTCOUNT
op. sys. refuses to provide memory
    Stata's data-storage memory manager has already allocated 13696m bytes and it just attempted to allocate another
    32m bytes.  The operating system said no.  Perhaps you are running another memory-consuming task and the command
    will work later when the task completes.  Perhaps you are on a multiuser system that is especially busy and the
    command will work later when activity quiets down.  Perhaps a system administrator has put a limit on what you
    can allocate; see help memory.  Or perhaps that's all the memory your computer can allocate to Stata.

当你用 expand 指令时，你的资料会 "EXPAND" (有点像废话，duplicate observations)，显然是你复制了太多的观察值，占了太多的记忆体 (memory) 而造成问题！你确定你需要用到这个 expand 指令吗？

是的，因为是做event study。未expand之前 observations有大约200万个，已经最简化了。
