Dear members,

I am considering using Klein & Moosbrugger's (2000) Latent Moderated
Structural Equations (LMS) approach in a current project. However, at 200
subjects, I wonder whether I have a large enough N for this type of
analysis. Based on little more than intuition, it seems smallish.

Aside from the latent variable interactions, the models themselves are
quite simple and I meet the usual subject:estimated parameter ratio.

Any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Michael

Michael,

we have done some simulation studies with N = 200 and LMS performed quite well if the predictor variables do not deviate too much from normality. More is of course better - but 200 subjects may be enough for your analyses.
