下面这段话怎么理解,我理解的不是很清楚:

Supppose X is steel and measured in units of 2000lb.tons; Y(our numeraire) is cloth and measured in units of 1000 square yards. Then before we choose units of X,P0 could be a number like 2.5 measured in units of cloth per unit of steel. Now measure steel in 800 lb.units rather than 2000 lb.units. By choosing units that we measure steel in appropriately, we now have P0equal to 1; that is , at given world prices 1000 square yards of cloth is worth 800 lbs. of steel.

2.在确定x单位数前，假定P0*1 unit of cloth =1 unit of steel（例如P0=2.5）
3.现在，设steel以800 lb为单位 , 令P0=1,即有在给定价格（P0）下， 1000 square yards of cloth is worth 800 lbs. of steel.

这样子，P0*1 unit of cloth =1*1 unit of steel （单位乘以价格等于价值）
这样该明白了吧

1000 square yards of cloth is worth 800 lbs. of steel.
就是1000平方 yards 的布价值等于800 lbs. of steel

现在，设steel以800 lb为单位 , ，Y(cloth)仍以1000 square yards为单位。那么2000/800=2.5，
从而P0=1

似乎可以这样说的，英文和汉语表达不太一样
